I'm Johnny, and I do everything myself, from making the dough and sauces to cooking every meal and packing every order. Everything is made fresh when you order, so most orders take about 25 minutes.

ParmiJohnny is a takeout and delivery-only kitchen, so there's no dine-in seating.

Who is ParmiJohnny

ParmiJohnny is one of the sons of Salvatore Corteo.

Salvatore was born in Naples, Italy,

and immigrated to the US when he was just 18 years old.

In 1965, Salvatore and his brothers ventured into the restaurant business.

After countless late nights and relentless hard work,

Salvatore relocated to Pembroke Pines, Florida, in 1973,

where he established 'Umberto's of Pembroke Pines'.

His son, Giovanni, affectionately known as Johnny,

served as the head cook from 2005 to 2022.

When Salvatore decided it was time to retire,

he sold the restaurant in 2022 and moved to South Carolina.

Johnny also left Florida and discovered his fondness for Greenville, SC.

With his lifelong passion for the restaurant industry,

Johnny sought to establish something of his own.

Thus, he embarked on the journey to open ParmiJohnny,

aiming to bring forth the same cherished recipes

that sustained his father's restaurant for 49 remarkable years.
